The Power of God's Names
God's names are a gift to us showing us who He is and how He loves us. These three are just a sample of the many names of God and how they are used in the Bible. His names are a great way to reflect on our God.
JEHOVAH ELOHIM TSABA
Meaning: LORD God of Hosts.
From Psalm 59:5
You, O Lord (Jehovah) God (Elohim) of hosts (Tsaba), the God of Israel, Awake to punish all the nations. Do not be gracious to any who are treacherous in iniquity.
ELOHEI CHASDI
Meaning: God of my kindness goodness, and faithfulness
From Psalm 59:17
O my strength. I will sing praises to you; For God is my stronghold, the God (Elohim) who shows me lovingkindness (Chasdi).
EL EMUNAH
Meaning: The Faithful God.
From Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, he is the faithful God (El Emunah) keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
